Folio titles and descriptions by template

Page titles and folio descriptions display on your site in some templates. In other templates, they don't display. If you want search results to show different text, add an SEO title and description for that page.

This guide reviews how page titles and descriptions display in dissimilar template families in version vii.0.

Folio titles and descriptions in version vii.1

It's not possible to add page descriptions in version seven.1 sites, just you tin add and edit folio titles. These don't display on your site, only they'll appear in browser tabs and search results if there's no SEO title.

Change the text

Hibernate titles and descriptions

Calculation titles and descriptions in other templates

If your template doesn't display page titles and descriptions automatically, there are other ways to attain the same effect.

In whatsoever template, you tin can add together a layout page and customize information technology with heading text.
Some templates support individual page headers so you lot can add together text to the tiptop of other page types, such as collection pages.
In templates with a stacked index page, add a content section at the top to create a page header.

SEO titles and descriptions are different
